I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
